Is there any way to include system objects in a comparison?

Hi! I have added some common stored procedures to the master database, so I want them to be included into comparison, but I don't see master database in object browser. Is there a way to do this?

Hello, Karin! Thank you for your question. Yes, you can add system objects to a comparison. All that you have to do - just turn "Show System Objects" option on ("View" section of the top menu) and then select master database from the object browser.

Thanks! I have included the master database in object browser and now can see the procedures. One more question...Is there any way to point comparison rules for data types in SQL Server and Sybase?

Hi Karin,

Of course you can set data type mapping and it will be considered by DatabaseCompareSuite when comparing your databases. The mapping of data types can be set by clicking Settings button on the Project panel of the top menu. Open Type Mapping tab and here you can set the rules how to compare data types.

Best wishes,

Galina
